Back in May I showed you the snippets of paper
from Collage Box #2 started by LaWendula of Woven Letters.
And here is the collage!
I printed all the paper snippets on cotton twill or Lutrador and put it all together. The only part that wasn't spontaneous was the four squares of the background.
I still have to finish the edges, but haven't decided how yet.
Happy weekend to all!

That's really cool
Hi Joanie, I found you through Elizabeth from Altered Book Lover--I'll have to thank her for directing me over here! Great art!
I love the spontaneous look of this collage. It is wonderful. I would love to add your blog to my left sidebar. That way I would know when you update your blog. I was quite serious when I said I LOVE your art. And thanks for your sweet comments on my "wonky" sewing. I have found I love making these books.
A great piece from a great project!
To Jazz, Diane, Elizabeth, & Seth:

I kind of liked the way this turned out, and to read that you guys thinks so too feels really good!
Happy days!

Wonderful creation, such great use of rickrack too!
I was part of Collage Box #1 and had such fun with it ... LaWendula certainly has connected lots of people all around the globe.

wow i love how unique it is and that you transposed the paper onto fabric for the work. Don't you just LOVE swaps, I do, and i really enjoyed the challenge of the swap box, I forced myself to only use the paper that came out and nothing else!!
Thanks Diane & Deb for stopping by & leaving a comment!
I do love swaps, they keep me going if I'm in a creative slump.
wow, I love your approach - very unique! I did box #2 also but don't recall seeing any of your pieces in the box... guess they all got snatched before it came to me:)
P.S. forgot to say in my last post that you won a book on my blog, on this post: http://collagecontessa.blogspot.com/2010/07/plastic-years.html
