Thanks for looking, Bea & Jazz! I did make all my mother's dresses back in the days when women couldn't wear slacks to work. I love to sew, so Jazz I'll let you know if I decide to make full size dresses again!
I really like how you have turned these dresses into what could be wall hangings. The tiny stars and buttons on the front must have taken forever. The red and blue sewing around the outside really offset the burlap.
And that August dress with its rick-rack trim and circles shouts summer fun. I noticed even the background fabric has circles in it.
Well hello my lovely Joanie! I am LOVING the wee dress project (looking forward to Septembers!)Lindsey is going to be thrilled with the set! x Big loves to you and the gang!! xxx
Thanks, Patty, the colors made the designs easy too! Thanks, B&E, the little metal stars just needed 1 French knot each to hold them on. I appreciate your kind comments. Madame Karen, it's always a good day when you visit! The gang has a new friend, Opal, a medium sized turtle. Can't have too many friends.
I am having so much fun seeing everyone's creations!!! love you little dresses!!!
this is so much fun!!! I just found this cute challenge and I love it!!! I have my July dress complete...but will have to catch up with everyone on the previous months!!!
Oh these are wonderful!!! And you're ahead of the game!!! Good for you! Maybe I'll get August's dress done before the end of the month this time... Marva
I love both of these Joanie, especially August! fab colours and you've backed them so nicely with the hessian. Are you going to hang them together? Margaret
